In this video our Nashville trainer is working with two German Shepherds. They are staying with us for our Dog Bootcamp. She is working on off leash obedience mixed with playtime. She practices calling the dogs off their toys as they are in the process of chasing it. This is a great skill for any dog to learn, but it is especially useful for a German Shepherd due to their high prey drive. Being able to call your dog off the chase is extremely important if they start chasing something they shouldn’t!
