Stephany grew up in Mesa, Arizona, and Dallas, Georgia. Over the years, she had all different kinds of pets, from horses to dogs and cats, and even some ferrets. These pets have helped Stephany understand that every animal has a unique way of learning and loving.
She began working with animals at a young age, as she trained and interned at a local horse rescue and county animal shelter. She decided to let her passion for animals lead her to learn more about them and better understand them. She attended school at Brigham Young University-Idaho to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. In school, she found that she loved the handling and behavioral classes working with cattle, horses, sheep, chickens, dogs, cats, and rats. Her experience allowed her to also work through school at a veterinary office as a veterinary technician.
Stephany currently has two dogs of her own, a Belgian Malinois named Daisy and a Belgian Tervuren named Vira. In her free time, she enjoys taking in the outdoors by hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, camping, off-roading, and traveling. You can also find Stephany taking photos and volunteering!
