Michelle grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. From a young age, she has always had two loves: animals and hockey. Growing up, Michelle always had family pets (both dogs and cats). She also had a way of always finding wild animals in need and spent a lot of her childhood volunteering to rehabilitate injured birds, rabbits, squirrels, etc. This has stayed with her into adulthood, and during her 17 years as an elementary school teacher, Michelle’s students would always run to her with questions about animals! After transitioning out of teaching Michelle started working with local dog rescues to help foster dogs in need. She has also been a Rover pet sitter and has two fur babies of her own, Skylar and Honey.
In her free time, she plays hockey for the Team USA Women’s Ball Hockey Team, spends sunny days on the river boating, hiking with her pups, or spending time with family and friends!
