Raised in Southern California, Jessica grew up surrounded by the pets of family and friends, sparking a lifelong passion for animals. From a young age, she knew she wanted to dedicate her life to working with them. Her journey began at spcaLA, a non-profit animal shelter in Los Angeles, where she spent five years working alongside with the Behavior and Training team. There, she helped develop enrichment and training programs for dogs and cats, contributing to a significant increase in successful adoptions. It was during this time that Jessica discovered her true calling: helping people and pets build strong, lasting connections through training and education. Seeing fearful, timid dogs blossom into confident companions in loving homes fueled her commitment to making a difference. Since relocating to Nashville, Jessica has worked with animal hospitals, spay/neuter clinics, and community outreach programs aimed at supporting families at risk of surrendering their pets. Her mission is to equip pet parents with the tools and knowledge they need to help their dogs thrive.
Outside of her professional work, Jessica is an avid reader, thrift store explorer, and artist who enjoys creating with upcycled materials. She also loves training her cat, Lottie, to walk on a harness and practicing scent work with her dog, Fable.
