As a Chicago area native, Evan grew up spending as much time with dogs as he possibly could (despite not being able to have one at home due to a sibling’s allergies). As an adolescent, he spent his free time training the dogs of family members and soon realized he had a passion for working with animals. During his college years, Evan worked as a dog walker while living in Chicago and spent his downtime hanging out with dogs both big and small from nearby shelters during their open visiting hours.
As an adult, Evan has rescued two dogs – one a senior Havanese mix named Paige, and the other a rambunctious Border Collie mix puppy named Winston. Even as a 1-year-old puppy, Winston is already well-trained at the hands of Evan, knowing an array of obedience tricks as well as on/off leash commands.
Evan hopes to bring his positivity, can-do attitude, and love for all dogs to each and every training session as he knows that there is no such thing as a ‘Bad Dog.’
