Remi is such a natural when it comes to dog training, very calm and collected from start to finish and truly helped ease my nerves while we prepared to bring a baby home to our very loving but at times grumpy and territorial chocolate lab. Thank you for all your guidance and helping me feel more knowledgable even with my own dog!

I would highly recommend Remi at Suburban K9 Nashville. Remi is a delight to work with and is single handedly responsible for my still owning my dog. To say he was a difficult case is an understatement. As a 5 year old rescue from a puppy mill, he had no exposure to being a house pet. He came with a number of bad habits and a fear of every day situations. Through Remi’s patience and guidance we have learned how to help him lead his best canine life. Remi’s love of animals shines through and they delight in our progress. I have felt fully supported in this journey and although we are far from where we need to be, I am certain that with Remi’s help we will get there ❤️

Remi was just amazing! We wanted to get some training for our rescue pup and Remi taught us some easy ways to help our dog be better acquainted in our home with our 3 kiddos. She also helped us train him and a family member so that we could leave town when we needed to fairly quickly. She truly is so patient and a wealth of information! We are so happy with the progress we've all made in a short amount of time and we can't wait to continue our lessons with Remi!

I highly recommend Remi at Suburban K9. They not only helped train my rowdy pup but even took the time to train me as well! I learned so much about my dog and why he behaves the way he does due to Remi. This was a huge help in knowing how to better handle my dog so that he behaves but still has a good time when we are out in public! I will definitely use them for any future dogs too!

Once the heat set in for our state I started looking for a good shoe to protect my GSD's feet from hot pavement. I read so many negative reviews. Then Remi a trainer in the Nashville area talked me through the LavaSox shoe. She helped me with training tips and also found a coupon for me! She also helped me with beginning stages of training when Obi was a puppy. Excellent customer service. Will most definitely use again

Remi and Alyssa have been nothing but amazing! We started training about 3 months ago and the progress I’ve seen in my Rottweiler and blue heeled is astonishing!! Not only do they take pride in the way they work with dogs, they also take the time to make sure the owners are well educated and confident in themselves when it comes to their dogs! I couldn’t recommend them enough!!!

To date, our family has been working with Remi and Alyssa at Suburban K9 for 8 months (since our puppy was 2 months old) and the experience has exceeded our expectations from day 1. Not only have they trained our puppy to respond to commands, but they have educated us well on how to continue the work between our sessions so that our puppy will retain the skills. While away for two weeks, we left our puppy with Remi for the Board and Train program. During that time, Remi sent us videos to show us our puppy’s progress. We were amazed at the results Remi made with her in a short time. Once we were home, Remi spent time with us to explain our “homework.” Remi and Alyssa are firm with their training but so patient and encouraging as they teach us how to work with our puppy. Additionally, Remi and Alyssa are both a pleasure to work with. They have extensive knowledge and love of dogs, are friendly, punctual, helpful between sessions, and a pleasure to work with. We always look forward to their visits. Our puppy’s public appearances are the greatest testimony to Remi and Alyssa’s work. We often take her out with us and people usually remark on how well-behaved she is. They can't believe that a puppy can remain joyful yet calm and responsive to our commands in exciting environments. I always respond by saying that it's not us, it’s our trainers - we simply follow their guidance! We’ve been so happy working with Remi and Alyssa at Suburban K9. We highly recommend them for anyone who desires to have a dog who will not only hear commands and obey, but also be a sweet and enjoyable part of the family.

Suburban K9 has been absolutely amazing with our puppy. Remi is a natural. We’ve never had a live stock guardian dog before and we were so worried about how to train her. Remi took all the stress away from us and gave us the skills and confidence to manage what we thought was an impossible situation. We have the best dog in the world! Can’t say enough about how happy we are.

Suburban K9 is awesome to work with! We sent our Rottie for a 2 week board & train and it was worth every bit! Remi was as an awesome trainer, great to work with, and communicated with us every step of the way! We also worked with Alyssa during that time along with our follow ups and the professionalism continued as well. Alyssa worked well with Phoenix and continues to send follow ups to ensure we stay on the training. If you are in the Nashville area, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Remi or Alyssa as your dog trainer!

Remi was the best thing ever! She completely transformed our hyper German Shorthair Pointer! She kept us updated throughout our dog’s stay and really helped our dog with discipline and how to behave in public. It has changed our life as well because now we look forward to doing things with our dog! She is so communicative and is so honest with you throughout the whole process! Best experience!

We loved working with Remi M., to train our dog, Remy! Remi was professional, always on time, loved our dog, and made it easy on me and Remy to be successful. Our dog is a very friendly Golden Doodle who gets excited when guests visit. He is great, but can be a lot if you are not a "dog person". We have family members who are not used to dogs, so we had a goal of having Remy behave well enough to make everyone comfortable at our Thanksgiving celebration. After just 8 lessons with Remi M., our dog knew enough commands to stay in his "place", greet people calmly and we had a wonderful family celebration! We highly recommend Suburban K9, and Remi M., in particular!

Remi from Suburban K-9 did a fantastic job with my rescue dog Forrest. She taught him manners inside the home and to pay attention to me while outside. I have worked with Remi at suburban K9 Nashville since April of 2023. We will be finishing up our sessions this month. After just 2 months of working with them biweekly, I knew that it was worth the investment. My dogs are a part of my family and now that they can behave and I can listen to their cues as they do mine, we can live in peace. I lost my husband to a work accident when I was 6 months pregnant. Left a single mom of a 7 year old and a newborn, but also 3 dogs. It was so stressful, to say the least. I’m forever grateful to have found suburban k9 as they have been so accommodating to my family when things come up and I have to move appointments last minute or if I had to let them take the lead on the training session to tend to my newborn. I would absolutely recommend suburban k9 to anyone with dogs. It doesn’t matter if they are a puppy or senior! Suburban k9 will change your life and your furry friends lives.

My Boston Terrier's and I had the joy of working with Remi! Not only did my girls love her, but she explained to me why it was important for them to learn each command. I learned along with the pups and the results show. I can actually have company over without chaos. Remi changed our life for the better and we're so blessed to have worked with her!

I have a 6 month old female Doberman (Stella) with lots of energy! I chose the two week board and train program and Remi was the trainer who worked with Stella. She did an amazing job! Stella is well mannered and disciplined. She walks great on a leash and we are now working on off leash walking. I highly recommend Remi with Suburban K9 to train your dog! What a difference she has made

We could not have asked for a better training experience, result, and all-around relationship with Remi (Nashville). They are so good at what they do. Calvin is a 3yo double merle Aussie who is deaf. He boarded/trained at Remi's house and likely never wanted to come home! Our main goal for Calvin was to be brought up to a baseline that we could then work with. We've had many dogs before but now with two young kids our bandwidth for proper training and socialization was gone! Remi quickly learned who Calvin is as an individual doggo and brought out his very best self. We LOVED the frequent updates and photos, especially over his Gotcha Day, Christmas, and New Year's. All those milestones we missed but knew he was in the best hands. He has returned home with so much more confidence in being able to self-correct, self-regulate, and communicate his needs to us in healthier, more appropriate ways. Best of all, we received an amazing, customized manual and training so that we can be his best humans. We are looking forward to continuing sessions so we can stay on top of this awesome growth and Calvin can hang with his favorite Remi. Thank you so much, Remi and Suburban K9! UPDATED: Absolutely still 5 stars and wanted to add how much we have appreciated Remi working so intentionally with our two young kiddos. Remi has gone above and beyond helping ensure our whole family is fluent in what's best for Calvin. I've worked with Trainers Brooke and Remi for my dog, Ronan. Before training he was hyperactive and couldn't sit still, along with having strong separation anxiety. They also graciously allowed my other dog, Gaston, to sit in on lessons. Both Brooke and Remi helped Ronan learn to control his impulsive behavior and his anxiety has decreased significantly. In the past, I was nervous taking Ronan out to Home Depot due to his reactive behaviors of wanting to mouth and jump on people. Now, I can take both dogs out in public and not have a nervous breakdown myself due to fear of Ronan wanting to greet someone a little too strongly. Ronan used to become hysterical when his "brother Gaston" was not included in activities. Now Ronan has become more independent and can go on walks by himself without worrying about his brother. Brooke and Remi have been a blessing to our family, my husband and I can now host get-together with family and friends again without worrying about Ronan and his chaotic energy wanting to jump on everyone. I strongly recommend working with Suburban K9 and especially trainers Brooke and Remi because our furry wild child has gained confidence and learned to be his own individual. Gaston also says thanks because he can now play with his toys without Ronan snatching them away. Thanks for everything, Brooke and Remi!!!!!
