We couldn't be more pleased with the service and training we received from Suburban K9 Dog Training and, more specifically, from Rose Pierce! Rose not only took the time to help us train our three dogs, but also helped my husband and I be better pet owners. For over a year she explained everything in detail, brought her own pets to hep with training activities, took our dogs on field trips to Home Depot for people exposure and training reinforcement, and when it was warm, she also helped us with swimming lessons in our new pool. We needed to make sure each dog knew how to get out of the pool if they fell in for some reason. It was really important for us to have the best training possible with the best trainers and we definitely achieved that with Suburban K9 and Rose!

Twila worked very well with our 7 month old Sheepadoodle. He learned many commands and better manners. He was so excited to see her each week for his sessions. We would recommend Twila for your pup!

Gracie did an amazing job helping me train my older dog who was stuck in her ways. She was very informative & had answers to all my questions! I couldn't recommend Suburban K9 more.

I would highly recommend Gracie and Suburban K9. We ended up with 2 chihuahua sisters that developed littermate syndrome and Gracie has done an excellent job working through our issues. While they are still a work in progress they are 1000% better than when we thought it was impossible to get these babies trained. We've done in home visits and board and train sessions with Gracie and she always has an answer and method for their training needs.

We reached out to Suburban K9 in Houston when we were desperate for some help with our 14 month old Golden Retriever. They were extremely responsive and assigned us to Gracie Reed who was absolutely incredible with our boy! We had a few home visits and decided to do a week board and train with a follow up visit. We are amazed at the progress he’s made in such a short amount of time! Gracie has been so kind, thorough, and made us feel confident with implementing her techniques with our dog. Would highly recommended her and Suburban K9 Houston to anyone!

We’ve been working with Rose for a little while now and don’t have enough great things to say. She positively reinforces not only our dog, but us! She gives us homework and tells us exactly how to best train him in between sessions. We love her and so does Dakota!

My daughter and I found a dog at the Dallas Animal Shelter that was a surrender in December. She was still in her puppy stage, undisciplined and very energetic. I first tried another short term training with another company but felt Penny needed something else and then decided to try out Suburban K-9 after researching. Twila came to our house once/week because of the type of training I wanted for Penny. I had no idea how to go about training a dog! Twila taught me how! Over the weeks, we worked on simple commands that are necessary for a dog’s obedience. Twila individualized Penny’s training, came weekly and I worked on the new commands over the week. I was amazed how quickly Penny learned with the correct, loving technique. Twila assessed issues I was having thus leading Penny to not obeying and she’d tweak my technique and we’d practice until I felt my confidence grow and Penny listening better. It’s an ongoing education for Penny but we got the good basics down for now which leads me to a happier dog owner and Penny having more self-control and feeling loved. I highly recommend Suburban K-9! The trainers are true professionals and well worth the cost to training your dog so that everyone is happier! It’s an investment that pays off!

Rose is INCREDIBLE and I cannot praise her or Suburban K-9 enough! When we got our Doberman puppy, Sully, he was a terror and I didn’t think there’d be hope for him. But from day one with Rose, we started to see immediate changes and working with her to train us as much as Sully was just what we needed. We now have a great family pet, and he is just the best dog!!! I know for a fact that we wouldn’t be here without the hard work and guidance from Rose! Thank you so much for everything!!

Would recommend! We found Suburban K9 on an internet search, looking for an in-home dog trainer. We were looking for assistance in combining two households and 4 dogs, one specifically with reactivity issues. Gracie R. was the trainer who came out and meet with us for the consultation and became our regular trainer. Scheduling (and rescheduling) was easy, both directly with Gracie and the office. She was wonderful with all of our dogs, patient and understanding with both the reactive one and the shy one. I feel that she taught us, the pet parents how to address and prevent behavior issues. We were able to reach our training goal and we truly appreciate Gracie and all that she helped us and our 4 dogs with.

I’ve been impressed with our trainer Rose Pierce. We first worked with Rose to develop foundation obedience with our 5 month old puppy through the 2 week board and train. We were happy with the results so we enrolled our 4 year old dog in a board and train program to work on some stubborn behaviors. She help set the foundation and gave me the tools to keep working with my dogs. I highly recommend this program and Rose as a trainer.

We have enjoyed working with Rose in training our English Cream Golden Retriever puppy and recently purchased more sessions. Rose is excellent and works on training both the pup and owner. She explains training concepts through demonstrations, videos and having the owners complete the the action with her observation. She always checks to make sure the action is understood. Rose is excellent in providing assistance before and after sessions, if needed. She is flexible in scheduling and varieties of communication methods. She provides additional references/resources and training tools. Rose is passionate about her work and our pup adores her.

We have had a great experience with Suburban K9. It is training for both the dog and the owners. It is tailored to your needs and at your pace. Twila is very knowledgeable and puts your worries at ease. They are also flexible with class time. I like that they also send you videos with training tips in very specific situations. Our dog did not socialize well because he was a pandemic puppy. He was aggressive towards strangers and was difficult to have people come over. Now we are able to have family and friends come, he has obedience training and we are working towards getting the canine good citizen certification. I definitely recommend suburban k9 for people who are struggling with their dog and be able te enjoy having them as part of their family.

Twila of Suburban K9 has been a tremendous asset in training my 13-year-old dog. She has helped in getting the dog kennel trained and to be better behaved. I would highly recommend Twila if you need help training your dog.

SUB K 9 is an exceptional Training Company. Very professional - and kind!!!! I wouldn't use anyone else. Annie my cavapoo, LOVES Twila. She is so sweet and she gets Annie's attention. You can tell that Annie respects her. Twila knows how to train and she loves her job!!! I will continue to have Twila back periodically to tweek my puppy in areas where I have failed. We enjoy Annie so much now that she listens to commands.

Twila is fantastic!! We started with a dog that was fear based and skittish. Twila did her magic by training the dog. Now I have a well behaved dog that knows all sorts of commands. Twila taught us that the dog needed a “job” to mitigate is behaviors and helped build trust with me and the dog too. Thank you, Twila for everything.

Twila was amazing! She came to our house for the trainings so she could see how our boys acted in their home environment. Between our trainings, if we had any questions we were able to reach out to her and she would respond instantly! We never felt overwhelmed or alone in this training. Twila has a wealth of knowledge and provided tailored training based on the individual needs of our pups. Our training ended about a month ago and we still keep in touch with her! I would 100% recommend this to anyone who is considering training.
