Thank you Liliana for helping with training for Chulo and Scooter so far! In the months that we’ve worked together Chulo is able to be pet by strangers which I never thought was possible. I’m able to have peaceful walks and have knowledge to continue working on my dogs training in between training sessions. Looking forward to continue working together!

Liliana from Suburban K9 really changed my relationship with my dog. I got him as a puppy and as he grew, it became obvious the he was going to be strong and stubborn. I was getting really frustrated with his pulling on walks. So based on a personal recommendation from his daycare, I called. He has grown into a gorgeous lovebug. He's still feisty but he listens to commands and he's a joy to have in public. I love showing him off because he really helps to educate people about how gentle pitbull type dogs really are. Rebecca is an amazing trainer. Caring, compassionate with just the right blend of disiplene and empathy. We sent our Aussie Shepard/Terrier mix to her for a full 2 weeks training course at her homer. Bear is full of energy but she was able to teach him good behavious that has stayed wityh him months afte. Highly recommended.

Rebecca was amazing to work with. At first I felt very dumb because she made it all look so easy. She was always available for questions and offered to come out different times to work on additional techniques. The training worked well and Luna appeared to enjoy showing me all she learned. All in all it was a great experience.

Liliana and Suburban K9 have been absolutely incredible! Can't share enough about how detailed, caring, flexible, and productive she's been for us and our Bernese Mountain dog, Harvey. We were unaware just how anxious and nervous the breed can be, and we were finding him having serious trouble interacting with anyone (dogs or people) he wasn't comfortable with. Anything that would spook him - unexpected noises, doors opening, etc. - set him off where he just couldn't be outside the house. She gave us a realistic vision of the progress Harvey could make and worked diligently with us to make significant improvements. He now can walk through a "scary" place like Lowe's with ease and has been much easier to manage. He (and us) truly would not be where we are without Liliana and we're so grateful for her!

We could not be any happier with our choice for dog training! We did house calls and also the board and train with trainer Rebecca. We have a boxer and Rebecca started with her very early on at around 3 months of age. We loved having a few house calls prior to Rebecca taking our dog for her board and train because our dog got comfortable and knew Rebecca very well by that point. The two weeks our dog was in board and train, we got updates including pictures, videos, and the skills she had mastered. Other than the obvious of our dog getting the obedience skills she needed, we loved that we knew she was being loved, snuggled, and disciplined in a cozy home not a kennel type situation where the dog sat in a crate all day listening to other barking dogs and only coming out to train. Our dog was so loved while away from home and when Rebecca comes to our house now, our dog gets so excited to see her! We highly recommend this company for dog training and would do it again if we ever have another pup!

Liliana is an outstanding instructor. I have had four wonderful dogs during my adult life that had trainers who were good but none can I call professional: like Liliana. I have extended my program with her since I enjoy her teaching (not to mention my dog) and working with her. She is an asset to K-9.

Rebecca trained my dog Theo. Had success with everything that said would be done. He is now off leash ready for our hikes at 7.5 months old, knows all commands, treadmill trained

we had a trainers Rebecca and Lilliana come help with our 11 month old golden doodles reactivity to the TV and out the window and it has been SO much better since. I was really happy to confirm that they use the same foundations in balanced dog training that we had already being working on with our pup. they fine tuned our technique and made sure we were both doing the same things with correction and desensitization. He is walking better and I was able to watch a movie without being on edge with him for the first time in a few months. I would definitely recommend them!

Liliana has been the trainer for several of my dogwalking clients and truly is a treasure. Thanks to her knowledge, expertise and the ease of application of her practices, my job is much easier and my walking clients that she has trained are easily the best part of my day. She is also lovely, fun and so very talented! Five stars, tens across the board, yes recommend a million times!

I started working with Liliana after having a terrible experience with a previous trainer. We adopted a puppy, Otto, over Covid, and not realizing it, we started him off on the wrong foot, as he wasn’t getting exposed to enough outside people and dogs. Once Covid was over we knew we had a problem. Liliana had Otto in hand wishing 10 minutes of meeting him, and through love and discipline, had him straightened out in short order. It was magical to watch what he and our other dog were capable of doing. Of course, part of any dog training is training the people, too. I’ve learned to set firmer boundaries, and now that they are both responding better to corrections, it’s easier to keep my expectations high. Both our dogs LOVE Liliana and we do, too! My dog walker has reported that walking them is the best part of her day, mostly because they know how to heel perfectly and are very responsive to corrections. I have recommended Suburban K9 to friends and neighbors unreservedly.

Liliana Carpano was a great trainer for our babies. She was always very professional and I was at impress with her knowledge. We truly enjoyed our training sessions.

Liliana is an amazing trainer at K9 dog training & I highly recommend working with her! My 4 year old dog had a lot of behavior problems that made it difficult for me to have guests in my home. Within 4 sessions my dog is so well behaved and much more calm. I’m amazed at the difference in her behavior and so grateful for Liliana’s expertise. It felt like Liliana cared just as much as I did about my dogs success and reaching the goals that I had for her behavior changes. In our first session she asked me many questions to help clarify what my true goals were for our 5 sessions together. I feel those goals have been met since we started working together and I’m very grateful for the time, care, and skills that Liliana brought to each session.

Awesome experience! Purchased a package for my mother's reactive dog last year and ended up getting my dog sessions as well. My mother's dog was reactive to everything from people to dogs and even loud sounds. Suburban K9 trainer, Liliana, worked with my mother's dog through each of her triggers and did an incredable job. Now my mother's dog is more confident in social situations. If she does have an episode of reactivity, which has been less than infrequent, she is now redirectable, instead of laser focused, when stressed. For my dog, he no longer is a menace to walk with on the leash and counter surfing for food is a thing of the past!

I started working with Suburban K9 Dog Training when I was about to re-home my Bernadoodle. He was so much stronger and bigger than we expected and he was running the household. It was clear Liliana loved dogs and she was an expert in K9 behavior. We bought a package for in home training and trained each week. Ozzie began to behave and was an ace in basic commands but still a major challenge for me at 69 years old. I did board and train with Liliana for 3 weeks and what a turnaround in my 10 month old Ozzie. He is a different dog, no longer reactive to other dogs and he's now part of the family. He burns his excess energy off on a treadmill and a pleasure to have. A remarkable difference after three weeks of board and train. Thank you Liliana! We are so grateful to you!

We had a wonderful experience with Liliana at Suburban K9 training.When we first started, Morty was chewing everything, pulling at the leash, and not listening. By the end of the training, he was the perfect puppy. We all looked forward to our training sessions with Liliana, who was patient, knowledgeable, and very good at answering all of our questions. Now we have a very well trained fun dog. I would definitely recommend Suburban K9 Dog training.
