We had an amazing experience with Suburban K9 Miami. Lilliana Rodriguez did an amazing job with our dog. He needed a lot of work and has come along way with Lilliana. She was always professional, on time, responsive to our and our dog’s needs, and was SO patient and sweet with our dog. We’ve had 3 other trainers before and he’s definitely responded the best with Lilliana. I highly recommend Suburban K9 Miami and specifically Lilliana.

If you're on the fence about whether or not to invest in professional training with Suburban K9 for your dog or puppy..... do it! My daughter adopted her first puppy and he was a handful to say the least. He was 4 months old and had been rescued from the streets of St. Croix. It was clear from his DNA that he was not bred to be a family lap dog. With a dog like this, proper training was critical and my daughter didn't have the skills to do it. So our choices were to give him up, which would most likely mean he would eventually be put down, or get him the best training possible. We chose the latter. This dog's circumstances were not his fault. We researched all of the trainers in the Orlando area and chose Suburban K9. We were paired with Cara Hopkins and sent my daughter's dog, Spy, to board and train with her for 2 weeks. Since my daughter had been at her wits end, I had actually spent the week prior to the board and train babysitting Spy so I knew him and his behaviors pretty well. About a week after Spy returned home to my daughter after his training, I went to Orlando to visit them. I was absolutely astounded by the dog I saw. He was a completely different dog, but with his same loveable personality. He had manners, he didn't jump, he walked perfectly on the leash, he stayed off the counters, he listened, he could sit and wait to be allowed out the door, he could heel.....amazing!! Cara is an incredible trainer. And she was really great in working with my daughter. She understands dog owners and what they are dealing with. She kept my daughter updated every day on Spy's progress. She loved Spy as if her were her own. Cara is WONDERFUL!!! So if you need help in getting your dog's behaviors corrected and/or eliminated, call Suburban K9. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Cara and thank you Suburban K9! You helped us save a life. We could not have done it without you.

My brother in law gave us two beautiful puppies (rescued them from a yunk yard - siblings), we fell in love and took them in. After doing research we were so afraid of what is called "Littermate Syndrome." We contacted Suburban K9's, and let me tell you, it was the best decision we ever made, specially because of Liliana "Lili" our teacher. Lili has been so caring with our dogs (Hope & Neo) We did the 1 yr package, which was great because we started since we they were puppies. One of the most important things Lili thought us was to pay attention and analyze the right behavior (happy, uncomfortable, etc) when taking our dogs out or just practicing at home, teaching them to spend time apart and together too... As well as, building our confidence when training and practicing with our dogs. Lili after classes would give us h.w. to practice and I honestly tell you that all the hardwork does pays off. Last week, we were able to attend a doggy event (doggies everywhere...our fur babies were calm and very happy) at the doggie park and it was a success!!! I look forward to taking our fur babies to many more events and out in the world, thanks to Lili and Suburban K9.

Lili was absolutely amazing! Could see a huge difference in our dog after every training. Highly reccomend her.

Lilliana worked wonders with our anxious dog. She understood his needs immediately, and was able to pivot and come up with helpful strategies for all of the issues that he has. Lilli was so patient with us, and truly cared about helping our dog. She was flexible and kind, and we now have a different dog. He is calmer and happier and we are beyond grateful. I would give her a 100 star rating if I could.

Lilliana is AWESOME. My boyfriend and I have a 1-year old mini goldendoodle who has energy through the roof. We sent her to Lilliana for the two-week board and train program to improve on her response to commands and work through those fits of excitement. Lilliana was so sweet to our pup and clearly loved her so much 🙂 I felt totally comfortable and knew our dog was in very good hands! Lilliana helped us address all of our concerns and was super knowledgable. Every time I bombarded her with questions, she always had an answer! My family even noticed a huge improvement in our dog's behavior after the board and train. I plan to continue working with Lilliana in the future to keep up our pup's training. Overall, a 10/10 experience! Thank you, Lilliana!

The best training in the south florida

Lili saved our rescue dog from having to be re-homed because she couldn't live with our elderly cat. Her training was literally a life-saver and it's like we have a whole new dog. Patient and very consistent and she clearly knows what she is doing! Our pets owe her so much, as now everyone gets along together great - and the commands and training were instrumental in that.

Liliana was fantastic! Honestly her help with our dog far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

We can’t even begin to express how good Liliana was with our pup! We did the two week board and train and he came back so obedient. The two follow up sessions went really well and continued to build on all he’d learnt with her whilst away! Liliana herself is an absolute pleasure to work with, she absolutely loves dogs and our puppy loved her as well to the point of an excited pee whenever he sees her. We’re so happy we went with her and suburban k9 and have recommended her to some of our neighbours too. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for his training needs now!

Lillian at Suburban K9 was fantastic!! My 9 month crazy lab is a new man! He is a very excited puppy and We were having so many issues with him listening to us before we sent him (jumping on everyone, counter surfer, stealing of any object in his reach and not dropping!) Lillian really laid down amazing ground work with him. He’s listening to us and following commands like we would have never imagined. With a newborn at home, we feel so much more safe now that he’s listening to commands! We continue to work with him and his training and are continuously amazed at how well he does. Thank you Lillian and suburban k9! He’s still his same silly self but a silly boy that listens now!! Side note: Oakley had some tummy issues during his stay with Lillian and needed to go to the vet. She was amazing at keeping me updated and having her own contact with the vet as well. It made me feel so comfortable knowing he was cared for while he wasn’t feeling well. His vet visit ended up being not too big of a deal and he was back to normal within a short couple of days. Lillian and suburban k9 handled everything wonderfully.

Lili is a God send. We tried other trainers and training methods, but they just didn't work. We have a Golden Retriever who was absolutely out of control. After coming back from Lilian, it was a complete transformation. Now I have my dream...to have a dog I can walk with, hang out with and take places without even a leash!!! Thank you Lili.

Lili was AMAZING! She was on time, very professional, extremely loving with our puppy. She kept us updated and shared pictures and most importantly got the work done! Our little pup is obedient and listens to commands and just a pleasure to have after returning from training with Lili!

Lilliana is an amazing trainer. We had been training our dog for almost a year and still had issues with general behavior- sitting without a treat, jumping on counters, etc. Lilliana was SO sweet with our pup and she came back a much calmer and better behaved dog. Can’t praise Lili enough!

Lili did an excellent job with my 5.5 month old pup. He is still energetic, but with her help has been able to learn commands sit, stay, heel, and no. He is a joy to have in the house and continued training has been so much easier given this great foundation.

Lilly is a wonderful trainer! Very happy with the training my aussiedoodle received. Highly recommend!
