Chicago Dog Training Teaching Dogs to Heel in Public Suburban K9

Dog training, puppy training, and socializing in public! The Suburban K9 dog training program utilizes “heel” in a variety of situations. Heel is the process of teaching dogs to walk calmly while on leash. In this video, 5 of the Suburban K9 trainers are practicing the heel command with their training dogs. All of the dogs in the video are staying with us for our Board and Train program. Most of them have been with us for around 5 days.
Many common issues that arise in pet dogs can be fixed or prevented through proper leash manners. Dogs are unlikely to be leash aggressive, chase squirrels and rabbits, or lunge after bikes and skateboards if they walk in a calm relaxed state.
