At a young age, Wes was introduced to a lifestyle that consistently involved dogs. His mom was the manager of the Porter County Animal Control in Valparaiso, IN, where he hails from. He spent many days helping his mom at the animal shelter while developing a deep sense of connection in caring for animals along the way. As an AKC Junior Handler, Wes participated in showing his family’s German Shepherds in contests throughout the Great Lakes region.
In early adulthood, Wes attended Purdue University, graduating with a B.S. in Business Management. Ultimately, this led him towards a career path in personal insurance where he worked in a variety of roles including customer service, sales, claims, and training. During his 14 years in personal insurance, Wes developed a passion for helping people live safer, more secure lives by providing personalized guidance to his policyholders.
As a member of Suburban K9, Wes enjoys blending his passion for working with dogs and helping families!
