Geoff has always been quite an avid animal lover. As a child, he would rescue animals that were injured with his mother and take them to a facility that specialized in animal rehabilitation. Once he reached an age where he had some maturity, he got his first dog. The connections that he made through the acquisition of his first dog led to him opening his own dog training business. While he had to transition out of the dog training world back then due to starting a family and relocating to Florida, he never stopped missing the fun he had when working as a trainer.
After that, Geoff worked as a school counselor for 16 years, a role that fulfilled his desire to help people. Still, there was always a strong longing in him to work with dogs again and help people overcome the inevitable challenges that dogs bring, which steered him towards the opportunity to join the Suburban K9 team!
In his free time, Geoff enjoys bike riding, going to the beach, traveling around the US and just spending time with his kids, his fiancé, and her very cute dog, Q-tip. His daughter looks forward to having more dogs around the house and hopes that they can “keep” all of them (don’t worry, she knows they can’t!).
