Cassie grew up in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, where her family had several different pets over the years. They had everything from dogs and cats to snakes and hamsters. She knew at a young age that working with animals was always something she wanted to do, so finding a career in dog training was a dream come true.
She originally started her career with animals at a pet adoption store, where she formed special bonds with her coworkers and each four-legged friend that came in the door. After a few years, she transitioned to a different animal-related field and worked at a veterinary office as both a receptionist and vet assistant. She loved being close to the animals all day, and found that contributing to their health and recovery was very rewarding.
Cassie was inspired to pursue a career in dog training after a close friend adopted a reactive dog named Talia. Her friend was determined to help Talia and prove to everyone that she wasn’t a “bad” dog, but just needed the right training. He did just that. With all the hours of training he put in, Talia was a completely different dog!
She wants to help other dog owners and show them their pets can overcome fears and bad behaviors with proper training methods. In her free time, you can find Cassie reading a good book or spending quality time with family and friends!
