Allyson’s most cherished childhood memories were helping her Aunt on the farm. What started as a chore evolved into her passion, as she quickly learned that she’d rather hang out with the animals than her classmates. When Allyson wasn’t at school, she would spend her days volunteering at an animal rescue or cuddling with her family dog. Allyson’s family always had multiple pets in the house. From the family dogs and cats or turtles and guinea pigs to lizards and snakes. Fur or scales; Allyson loved them all!
Even though Allyson’s love for animals was undeniable, she followed in her dad’s footsteps and chose a career in engineering. After two years as an industrial designer, she realized she wasn’t doing something she enjoyed. Once Allyson adopted her first puppy of her own, she quickly realized training wasn’t as easy as she thought. After watching training videos and reading as many training books as she could get her hands on, it hit her. At that moment, Allyson knew dog training was her calling! Most people wouldn’t understand, but she did.
Working as a dog trainer is a dream for Allyson, and she loves helping as many dogs and owners as possible!
