Our Board and Train program is renowned for its ability to change your dog for the better.

Some people call this a doggie boot camp, but we believe that gives the impression of overly strict militant trainers. Our trainers are able to rehabilitate even the toughest dogs while still giving love and affection. For your convenience we offer a pick-up and drop-off service anywhere in Illinois and most of Southern Wisconsin.

Find out why our trainers are regularly called in by dog rescue groups all over Illinois when they are having issues with their dogs. Every training group claims they are the best, but we stand behind our results. Suburban K-9′s boarding and training program helps rehabilitate hundreds of dogs each year when other trainers have given up on them.

We offer two great options.  The first option is for your dog to stay at one of the nicest kennels in Chicago-land while he is trained.  Your dog will stay at Bark Avenue in Bartlett, Il for a two week period.  During his/her stay, our trainers will work with your dog every day to develop obedience skills as well as address areas of concern that you have. When your dogs stay is over, we will schedule a one hour pick up session with you so we can demonstrate all your dog has learned. We will also spend time giving you one on one instruction on how to maintain the newly learned behavior and answer any questions that you may have. Following the pick up session, we will also schedule a free follow up session for you and your dog in a week or so. The purposes of this follow up session is to review the skills that you should be incorporating into your daily life and correct or fine tune any behavior as needed. We also include five weeks of group class and free follow up phone consultations for the life of the dog. Boarding and training programs are tailored to your dog and cover any behavioral issues you may be having.

We also offer a board and train in one of our experienced trainers homes.  Your dog will be trained seven days per week and will learn to act more appropriately in a home setting. We will come to your house to pick up the dog and see him in his home environment.  After two weeks of training the trainer will bring the dog back to your home for a go home session.  We will then schedule a follow up session for one to two weeks later.  This option also includes free follow up phone consultations for the life of the dog.  Our trainers only take in one dog at a time for this option so please call in advance.
